Therapy for adults.
Online & In-person in Washington
Navigating every day life isn’t always easy.
Our day to day lives can be filled with questions and uncertainty and it is sometimes hard to find delight and joy in ourselves, the people around us, or the roles we are involved in. We all need and deserve to be loved and supported. Together we can build a trusting, safe relationship where you feel comfortable navigating what is happening currently, or what has happened in the past that continues to come up for you. We can process together, have compassion for all the stories you bring forward, and begin to integrate those pieces of yourself, so that you can find more love, joy, and support in those around you, while continuing to be able to navigate through your world.
Maybe you’re noticing:
increased anxiety in day to day activities
less tolerance for yourself or for those you love
less joy in things you used to find joy in
past memories or trauma coming up more frequently
Light continues to shine, even when we don’t see it.
What you can expect when we work together
I work with individuals from an attachment perspective. I work with adults on the myriad of life transitions they are working through, helping them better cope with their everyday stresses, as well as taking into account their early attachment relationships.
I utilize attachment, object relations and relational theories, as well as family systems and relational neuroscience in my work with adults. My approach is influenced by research that indicates the importance of relationships upon the formation of one's personality. I work toward forming a relationship with you, as well as focusing on your current and past relationships.

Common questions about therapy
-
There’s no real answer to this question! We will work together to decide if our work is helpful to you, whether you want to continue having weekly sessions, or whether it would be more helpful to move to less frequent sessions. There is not a “one size fits all” approach to therapeutic work.
